Avondale, Louisiana – The #44 BMW M2 CS, Rooster Hall Racing with Colin Garrett at the wheel raced to the fastest lap time of 1:50.885 for the opening practice round of the TC America Powered by Skip Barber Racing School at NOLA Motorsports Park. In overall standings, he was followed by #1 BMW M2 CS, Fast Track Racing driver Jason Ruud with the fastest lap time of 1:51.03. Rounding out the top three overall was #57 BMW M2 CS, Accelerating Performance piloted by Stephen Cugliari.
Rounding out the field in the TCX class was #26, BMW M2 CS Rigid Speed driven by Lucas Cantania with a time of 1:51.117, followed by Garrett Adams in the #54, BMW M2 CS Fast Track Racing with a time of 1:51.485, and the #30 BMW M2 CS HARD Motorsports piloted by Steve Steimer with a time of 1:52.179.
Leading the field in the TC class was #9, Honda Civic Type-R, Skip Barber Racing with the fastest lap time of 1:52.284 by Kevin Boehm. Laying down the second-fastest time in class was the #60, Mini JCW Pro TC Mini JCW Team with a time of 1:52.298 driven by Clay Williams. Rounding out the top five in class was #37, Honda Civic Type-R LA Honda World Racing with a lap time of 1:53.129 put down by Matt Pombo, #42, Honda Civic Type-R Skip Barber Racing School driven by Ken Fukuda who had a lap time of 1:52.676, followed by the #06, BMW M240iR (2019 Evo) DRS & Garagistic with a time of 1:54.465 piloted by Matthew Ibrahim.
Representing the TCA Class with the fastest lap time was the #16, Honda Civic Si Skip Barber Racing piloted by Carter Fartuch with a time of 1:57.819. Rounding out the top five in class was #5, Honda Civic Si, LA Honda World Racing, with a time of 1:58.188 was driver Spencer Bucknum. The #21 Subaru BRZ TechSport Racing with Gresham Wagner behind the wheel laying down a lap time of 1:58.606. He was followed by his teammate Devin Anderson in the #22, Subaru BRZ TechSport Racing who had a time of 1:58.84. Completing the top five in class was the #61, Mini JCW MINI JCW Team driven by Christian Perocarpi with a time of 1:58.912.
