Alton, Virginia – TC America presented by Skip Barber Racing School qualified early Friday morning, laying down some noticeably faster lap times than during practice on Friday. Unfortunately, Carter Fartuch in the #16 Skip Barber Racing School Honda Civic Si crashed in Turn 12 with minutes remaining, which red flagged the session.

In the BMW M2 CS (Cup)-filled TCX class, pole was claimed by Colin Garrett in the #44 Rooster Hall Racing BMW, who clocked in a 1:59.344. Stephen Cugliari laid down a 1:59.405 in the #57 Accelerating Performance machine and will take the spot next to him on the grid for Race 1. Jacob Ruud in #1 Fast Track Racing rig set a 1:59.773 and will sit right behind them, followed by Lucas Catania in the #26 Rigid Speed car after setting a 2:00.535.

TC Kevin Boehm secured the top starting position in his #9 Skip Barber Racing Honda Civic Type R after clocking in a 2:02.569. Next to him on grid will be Nicholas Barbato in the #88 Genracer / Ricca Autosport Hyundai Veloster N TC after setting a 2:04.025. Clay Williams will start in third in his #60 MINI John Cooper Works Team JCW Pro, followed by Jeff Ricca in the #78 Genracer / Ricca Autosport Hyundai Veloster N DCT TC.

TCA saw some incredibly tight lap times, with Gresham Wagner securing pole in the #21 TechSport Racing Subaru BRZ for laying down a 2:10.158, followed by his teammate Devin Anderson in the #22 after setting a 2:10.332. Carter Fartuch drove his #16 Skip Barber Racing School Honda Civic Si to P3 with a 2:10.737, though, it remains to be seen if he’ll be on grid due to the impact at Turn 12. Mike Ogren will sit in P4 in the #20 Skip Barber Racing School Honda Civic Si after laying down a 2:10.831.

Race 1 starts at 1:05 PM Eastern.
