Colin Garrett kicked off a crowdfunder for a military family in style at Sebring International Raceway September 23-25, winning both of his races after taking the pole and running the fastest lap in each. The crucial double win narrowed the TCX championship points battle, with Garrett and points leader Jacob Ruud now only separated by 30 points going into the final rounds at Indianapolis.
Garrett’s No. 44 11/11 Veteran Project Rooster Hall Racing BMW ran with decals of memorial artwork created by the late Master Sergeant Chrystal Stuckey’s surviving 4 children.
“These guys from Rooster Hall Racing didn’t have the greatest weekend at Road America, so to win this week at Sebring is really awesome,” exclaimed Garrett. “I have a lot of family and friends here, so it’s really cool to be able to share that with them. It feels good to be back in victory lane and hopefully we can do it again tomorrow.”
